Travel from the South

Travel North from the Lyon area either along the A6 toll motorway to the Mâcon exit, Junction 29, or the former Route National 6 (N6) which is now the D406.
There are signposts on both the motorway and the ordinary road for Taizé.

The motorway junction (J29, Mâcon Sud) is just north of the N79 which may also be signposted A406!   Whilst the N6 meets the N79 on the Southern outskirts of Mâcon.   Turn East although the actual turn is to West followed by a 180° loop! onto the end of the A406 which becomes the N79 in the direction of Cluny and Charolles, there are signposts on this road for Taizé.

Turn North off the N79 onto the D980 to Cluny, skirt the centre of Cluny itself and turn right (North) at the roundabout onto the D981 to Massilly.

In Massilly take the only right turn off the main road, just after the bar, 'Cafe Du Coin'.   Pass the factory at the edge of the village then fork right in the direction of Cortambert.   Pass a forest on your left, ignoring the small sign for Toury, and at the end of a long (1Km) straight look out for the sign to 'Le Havre' and branch left to Toury.   Our house is the third on the left in the main village after having passed several outlying farms and houses and the vineyard.   If you wish, we can fly a flag outside the front of the house.
